So here's what I'm proposing. If any one out there actually owns one of these crazy things, I insist that you show up on my doorstep wearing one. So that I may then proceed to fall on the floor and laugh uncontrollably for several hours.
Seriously, who owns one of these??? Come on and fess up.

My cousin tried to order one for his wife and couldn't because they are backordered!
Michelle
LOL!!! Well, then I would say that your cousin's wife lucked out. :)
I guess they're more popular than I thought!
i do not own a snuggie. but i want one.
My grandmother got one similar to that but what else do you get a 73 year old person?? :)
Adam, I think I might pay good money to see you in a Snuggie. :)
Stephanie, I thought the same thing. There seem to be a lot of "older" people in the ad. I guess that's their target market.
They look like monks!
Okay, we don't have a fireplace and we do have an ineffective heat pump so I was down with the whole snuggie idea. I'll admit the commercial was entertaining and I cracked myself up thinking about going over to your house in it, but I would do it to give you a good laugh.
Michelle, they are confirmed "in-stock" at the "As Seen On TV" store in the Mall of Georgia. $19.99, right up front.
i own several long sleeve shirts, which are very similar to blankets with sleeves, except I can where them away from my couch and they aren't way to big on me.
Evidently, there's a commercial for this that shows someone wearing it on a subway. One of my northern pastor friends cracked that he'd actually like to see someone wear one on a subway and live to tell about it. :)
ang, i spent most of the holidays laughing hysterically at these ads! i would rather freeze in an arctic tundra than wear a snuggie i think..do they come with a free set of windchimes?? or an easy slicer?
only worse is the ped egg. that commercial almost made me lose my chinese dinner...
and the other invention that i always marvel at is the recreation each decade of the whisper 2000. there's a new one but it's called something else. do people buy those?? "You can hear the phone ringing while you're in the yard! and everyone else's phones ringing too!"
ps, angie h, if you buy a snuggie i may have to come down there and get you!!
